Albion manager Chris Hughton says Elvis Manu is taking time to adapt to English football.
The 22-year-old Dutch attacker has yet to start a game for the Seagulls since a £1.5 million move from Feyenoord at the end of August.
Manu has made five substitute appearances in the Championship, spanning a total of just 68 minutes.

His chances of more game time will be handicapped further by the double loan signing of Mark Wilson from Manchester United and fellow Dutchman Rajivan Van La Parra from Wolves.
Manu played 33 games for Feyenoord last season in the domestic top flight and Europa League.
Hughton told The Argus: “He certainly works hard, he’s a really good lad. We took him as a player we know can play in a couple of positions, on the left or just off the front.
“Some players may take longer to adapt. He is from a very tactical league. It’s fair to say he has taken longer to adapt but he is certainly working hard.”
