But the police officers are supposed to protect the innocent, how can they trust them when there is clear racism when it comes to policing.
This guy wasn't an innocent. I saw on a Black Americans youtube channel a video of this guy robbing a store.
This of course does not justify what happened to him. But then I don't think for one minute him and his friend were being decent law abiding citizens when all this went down.
The Police officers are supposed to protect the innocent this is true. Is this guy one of them? Or one of the people Police and the public should fear? Once again that does not mean justification for what happened. Simply pointing out can you trust such people? And that's nothing to do with his colour, but his actions.
Leaders in the communities REALLY do care, where did you pull that fact from?
Al Sharpton, Cornell West, Jessie Jackson, John Lewis, Andrew Young and those are the one that I can think of off the top of my head.
From listening to the previously mentioned Black American on social media lambasting community leaders for being political grandstandaers and only in it to line their own pockets. Some of the biggest hypocritical ambulance chasers going around. Especially Jackson and Sharpton.
A black female Stop The Violence advocate was shot dead while in her car in Chicago a few months back. This in itself is far worse than Trayvon Martins death as he was a little hood. This woman was a good person trying to make her community a better place. Yet did we see the likes of Sharpton and Jackson turn up? Hell no. But they would for a little punk like Martin. Warped principles.
The US in not a place where you can come to make money and make better life for yourself anymore, if you're poor chances are you'll be poof for life.
It's about education. Anyone with an education can still make it out of poverty.
