Chappers took future Albion legend Kanchelskis out of the game.

A while back, someone on Twitter saw I mentioned being at the game.
Messaged me asking if I still had the stub as he was a 'Beckham collector'.

Me thinks he finally tracked one down!

How many Beckhams does he have so far? If he wants to acquire David he’s late to the party. Qatar just bought him for £10 million.

I'm guessing the lofts will be searched, and ebay will be flooded with these tickets now, giving them a value of about 25p!

£150m actually!

It might sound a lot, but that's the going rate to swallow your morals and help a 'questionable' state sportwash their reputation. What a fine fellow he is.

I wonder if I can persuade the buyer that the tub of grass in my parent's garden, that came from the Goldstone pitch a few years later, had been stepped upon by Sir David Beckham?

(that's if it's still alive and hasn't gone to garden waste many moons ago)

Don't think we had tickets for this game, just turned up and paid on the turnstile, might be wrong but we rarely bought tickets for games at the Goldstone until towards the end when it was a necessity.

I seem to recall that when he came on he was introduced as David Blackham.

Funny thing is, no-one knows how many are in circulation, do they? (never discussed on here afaik)

So how can a value be estimated?

Could just this one out there (unlikely) or 100. A few people about to check, I think...

Yep, I’m about to check although I was on the North West Terrace. Did they issue tickets for standing up ?

Just had a look and whilst I don't have this, I had forgotten how many I did keep. Two from the Wigan and Doncaster games in 97 and my Hereford one. Old England games, Canvey Island, Kingstonian. And annoyingly, the return leg with Man U.

Just off to price up a Tesla.
