Yep my fondest memory of euro '96 was working the morning shift at Safeway in Worthing, then banging one of the checkout girls in her kitchen before heading to the nearest pub for the Holland game. Probably up there with the most times I've shouted YES! in one day.

I put a spare £1 on England 4-0 Holland and another spare £1 on England 4-1 Holland with Ladbrokes, both at 100/1. The bookie pissed himself laughing.

Evidently when I collected it, I got told I was the only punter Ladbrokes had taken the bet from.
