I see he has still been the bench keeper at Hull although I appreciate it's still very early. Surely better to experience being a bench keeper for us than for Hull?

He’s not even made their bench yet. Although I’m not sure if his transfer went through in time for him to play against Leeds so he may have only been eligible for one game so far.

I think this one might end up being a failure and him coming back in January - they signed a couple of keepers in the summer and then signed Rushworth as well. I've no doubt, without even seeing the other two, that Rushworth is the best of the 3 but it might have put noses out of joint and made everyone involved unhappy.

Yeh, It often makes more sense for the loanee club to play the player that is there for the longer term unless you have a very good reason not to

Obviously it won't be a condition of the loan that he is no.1 keeper, or has to play every match - but if he doesn't he will be hooked in January and sent somewhere better, that's an absolute certainty!
