Why don't they swap jobs ? They're equally c**p at what they do. The failed ex Middlesbrough manager is tactically inept, devoid of any personality, and watching his teams is like being under anaesthetic. The Conservatives are crying out for a steady pair of hands to lead them through previously unchartered waters. Southgate's in the wrong job !

Boris' gung ho attitude would make for fantastic entertainment. Opposition managers, can easily predict Southgate's game plan. They wouldn't have a clue if they pitted their wits against Boris ! The downside here is that even his own players would struggle to comprehend his tactics, or lack of them. If we're gonna lose, let's at least all still be conscious at the end of 90 minutes !

Gareth Southgate is the second most successful manager in the history of the England football team. That’s not opinion that’s hard fact. He’s achieved something the last 60 years worth of lauded managers have failed to do some of them with far better squads. Boris can however GTF.

Are those that eulogised over the greatness of the failed Middlesbrough manager in his England job still on side ? I'm convinced that England could still fail miserably with Johnson in charge, only the journey would be much more entertaining. Southgate, with his personality bypass would make a good leader of The Conservative party. Which one is in the best form at the moment ? England have just been humiliated at home to Hungary. The deportation of refugees to Rwanda isn't going smoothly. Come to think of it, Brexit hasn't exactly been an overwhelming success. There's a strong case for them to swap jobs. What could possibly go wrong ?

Potter took us on our longest winless run and longest run of hours without a goal form open play this season for a very long time. Does that mean Potter is a busted flush?
