The Bluetones - Expecting to Fly
Talking to Clarry
Bluetonic

Things Change

Definitely Maybe is pretty unbeatable

Also The beatles - White Album - and yes I do like track 4

Back in the U.S.S.R.

In no way a major fan of the band but the opening 4 to The Joshua Tree by U2 are a bit special

1."Where the Streets Have No Name"
2."I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"
3."With or Without You"
4."Bullet the Blue Sky"

Both of those could be answers to a slightly different question as the records go massively downhill after the first 4.

Disagree that The Joshua Tree goes downhill after the first four tracks. You've still got Running To Stand Still, In God's Country and the rather brilliant Red Hill Mining Town to come, amongst others. An almost perfect album for the particular genre.
