Far too much time and space. Defensively, that's poor. The two goalkeepers took a very different approach to that as well, the first one wanted to save it but was useless and the second didn't understand why there were there.

I played at the Goldstone in the mid-70s as a school kid.

I don't think anyone can under-estimate how exciting it is to play on a professional football pitch.

There's the outside possibility that Ryan is the same fella who ran past me first game back this season.

I was sat in front of the West Stand when "Gully" was screamed from my left.
I looked up to see a similar height and build chap hammering towards the big fella.

Launching himself into Gully's wings, after such a prolonged absence, like the ending of 1930's Hollywood film.






I immediately chopped an emergency onion.
