Or am I just a bumbling yokel with straw in my mouth?

This morning we had to pop over to the lesser half of Sussex, and used HP for dog exercise, kids scootering, all very nice.

But I was finding myself 'getting all Victor' with the other park users.

- Joggers, I know, I know, it's safe and good quality, but are you actually jogging or badly showing off the fact you have all the gear and no idea.

- Huskies, I take it they are the latest fashion item.

- All that gym type equipment.

- The kids labelled up, frightened to get mucky.

The level of class was raised when Adam El Abd and family turned up.
As our children were playing together on the roundabout I did, very lamely, manage to say 'keep up the good work', sadly I think initially he thought I meant pushing the kids!, before he seemed to realise I was talking about The Albion.

Iquite like hove park as parks go. As for huskies are they taking over from the chavs favourite - the bull terrier?

I've given up going there.

Unless you've got one of those wooden eco bikes and children called Rufus and Gideon forget it!

Pity! I was brought up round there things have really changed. The only consolation I suppose is knowing that Rufus and co will be in for a shock when they go to Hove Park school. A Baptism of Fire shall we say.......

I'm sure that most of the kids now at Hove park will be called Rufus or Nathaniel.

We live equidistant between Hove and Preston parks. Hove Park is probably our preferred park venue you can't beat its sun drenched undulations on a summers day.

Preston Park has better facilities for kids but I would say the Hove Park cafe beats Rollings and Rotunda. Super all day breaky at Hove.

Errr watch it fella! This is my park of choice. Stoneham is closer but for a game of football, in the pissing rain its local and free

That sadi...

Yes the joggers and the gymn equipment are pretentious.

Huskies are the current fashion not limited to chavs.

HP is excellent to run around hence the amount of people doing it. Besides what's wrong with jogging? Better round the park than trying to cross the road.

I think we probably agree, it's a really nice park, undulating, space to kick a ball, clean (ish), picnic, nice kids area.

But blimey Tarquin city, or wot!.

Love HP. Go running around it often.
We don't like basic or non tax payers in this park.
Personally I would have inspectors checking that no poor people enter!
I was aware that my ranting at others was actually saying more about me.

Oi what's wrong with the name Datsun-Raphael, I'm a 5th generation Datsun!.

I do know my argument is feeble, I was struggling when I started it, with Wifey.
But nevertheless, it just doesn't feel right, (he says stumbling even further down the blind alley at the bottom of Feeble street).

It's all a bit show-offy, 'oh look at me'.

Does seem to be like that, However it is good to see this, and explain to your kids, you will never be invited to any of these kids birthday parties, so push, kick and bully away

the Cafe is good for food and yummy mummy watching, although there are some plastic faces amongst them.

Beat me to it! Actually, it might've been pertinent to how asked him how he smelled?

Terrible.
