6' 4"

Norwich have had a couple of bids turned down for him. Not sure how much they offered.

Derby say he's available for the right price.

Bought him for £700,000 last summer, but deemed surplus to requirements. Assume they'll be after a similar price, or slightly less.

Out on loan last season;

Huddersfield Town (League One):
Played: 13
Subs: 0
Scored: 6
Assists: 3

Blackpool (Championship):
Played: 5
Subs: 2
Scored: 4
Assists: 0

And not as good, Leeds: played 4, sub 4, scored 0.

Ex-Stockport, which fits our new set-up :)lolol:)

2007/8 season with Stockport:
Played: 38
Subs: 6
Scored: 21
Assists: 4

Surely worth a look Sladey?

Just seen this;

"I think at this stage, it could well be that he goes out on loan for another year.

"If we loan him out, we might want to put him into League One where we think he will score a lot of goals and his value will go up.

"It is doubtful he would be part of the plans here because he would be fifth or sixth-choice striker and that is no good for Liam at the moment."

A year long loan a possibility?

I've read some of the things the Leeds fans have said about him and they have nicknamed him 'donkey'.:lol:

Might be worth a punt if Murray leaves (Really hope he stays) though I guess....

Sounds like a Craig Davies scenario. Bet he missed a sitter in 1 of his games for them. Bet Blackpool fans aren't calling him a donkey.

When he first started at County, the fans there considered him a donkey as well. But his last season at County, he was suddenly left as a loan striker and somehow Jim Gannon had turned him into a world beater, and his goals were probably the main reason they were promoted, scored great goals in the play off semi and final, hence the £700,000 transfer.

Looks like somebody we should consider with that record and I like the 6'4" stat... we need a big centre forward...

Worth bringing in on loan for a year I'd say. Would sort out our minor striker worries, providing Murray sticks around (which I'm praying he will).

NOBODY is worse than craid davies !!!!!

you sure about that, his record before he joined a struggling team last season seems to suggest he scores goals. Would hold off saying he is crap until Xmas by which time we will see a different player altogether from last season
