To answer my own question - I guess you then reap the full benefit of the draw on the 0-0.
Yes, I back 0-0 to win 60, if/when that hits 1.1(usually on about 88 mins) I lay that for10 to win 100 so a late goal is not a disaster for me.

Still think those doing over 0.5 and then draw in play would be better doing under 3.5 first half goals as their first bet...
£150 better off in the last few years if you had...
Sure one day soon there will be over 3.5 first half but that's life...
Not really. We all got a touch greedy. That's it. I do over 0.5 due to the fact as soon as there as a goal I can then have my free bet earlier and normally get better odds for things like last goal scorer.

But you cN do that at half time if there's under 3.5 mate. Can also cover over 3.5 if there's 3 early goals for about evens. There's been 3 0-0 draws in the last few years of this offer and never over 3.5 first half goals! I know what you mean though at least o0.5 and then the draw straight away garuntees completely risk free.

I know. For example though in the last man city game before this one I have over 0.5, waited for the first goal, and then backed Aguero as next goal scorer as it was so evident watching the game he was going to score. After half time the games invariably change. I think having to wait until half time for my risk free can leave you at more of a disadvantage. Depends what your gambling style is I guess!

I had a good one the other day on arsenal game. I was obviously at the Amex and just did over 1.5 goals around 70 mins when it was 0-0 - nice £150 profit
