I would like someone to tell me what made Paul Barber a better choice as Chief Executive than Gordon Smith (assuming he did go for the job, as some have said on here), an Albion man who let us remember did score in what was the club's biggest game since 1979 and before Hereford in 1997 and but for a good save by Gary Bailey would have won it. Someone who, more importantly, turned the Scottish FA from a ragbag organisation to one that is now able to support a far better playing side. Against someone who has hacked off people at virtually every club he has worked at.

My point is why do they get preferential treatment along with Palace while home fans are left on the ramp witnessing attacks on female stewards and vile abuse dished out by the passing Millwall fans.
Man up ffs!!, I take it you weren't there, how did you get home or did you even go? Millwall and Palace keep you penned in by police outside the away end for hours letting their fans get home, what do we do, The f****n opposite, complete joke

They wanted to get the Millwall fans out of town as quickly as possible. They made two or three announcements about train cancellations, and that the 'Wall fans had to get on the 21.58 train. It could have turned very nasty if they had not engineered a situation where they were able to do that.

The 21:58 was a 'special' Millwall only train, the same as last year, it's pre-arranged the same as for Palace in previous night games. I don't remember the announcement of any cancellations

Ok. They definitely said that due to cancellations the 21.58 was the ONLY choice for the away fans last night. If they missed it they'd have found it hard to leave Brighton.
I'd prefer they left Brighton.

The multiple announcements during and after the game explained that (football special train to get them home / engineering works and train cancellations) and it also cuts the risk of further trouble by getting them away quickly. - A sensible move imo.
I really don't know how much more simply our fans seem to want these things explained to them for them to understand and comments like the above make us look like simpletons (but hey, at least it can be used to have another unneccessary dig at someone at the club again)

I agree, but why don't we do what Palace and Millwall do and let the home fans get home first. The 'special' train could leave at 10:30, what difference would half hour make?

Agree with both comments - seems our fans are behaving pathetically and he is just the latest avenue for their frustrations to be vented - any trivial thing is latched onto and twisted to suit an agenda.
Was last nights game more important than Fulham last week or away at Wolves next match? - we want to win the to try to help improve the situation we are in.
And again a logical comment - we have been creating more chances that previous seasons but not scoring enough, we have limited opposition chances to very few but are conceeding and results could have been more kind (especially early on in Hyypias reign)
Do you seriously think any official of any organisation is ever going to come out and openly and publicly criticise an employee, seriously undermining that employee's authority? - No it would be highly unprofessional.
It's obviously just another example of various club employees being damned if they do and damned if they don't because you can't please all of the people all of the time.
It these sorts of things are being classed as enough to say that the soul has gone from the club or they show that someone is out of touch and should go, it just shows how ridiculous and pathetic this reaction from some fans is.

why didn't you go and have a warm drink for half hour then until they all p!ssed off instead of standing in the freezing cold.
Its Millwall their reputation goes before them , if you do not know what comes with them then you need to get yourself clued up a bit more.
