The only gammon riot will will be when local Spoons runs out of microwaveable gammon joints.

Last Brexit betrayal march went well, didn't it?

It really is the last resort of a desperate mob: “give us what we demand or we’ll tear the place up”.

They might have a stronger case if they’d clarified what they wanted 2.5 years ago.

Our own PM was yesterday trying to talk up civil unrest, she is now just so desperate.

Enough is enough, the grown ups need to take back control, May failed at the home office, failed against Gina Miller, failed to win an election, lost the biggest parliamentary vote in history and now is trying to sail Britain towards an iceberg and doesn't care who gets hurt...

Absolutely. If we really are going to sail over this waterfall of yellow dog shit let’s at least hand the reigns to someone more competent. Inspector Cleseau maybe?

No one is laughing about the 2.5% loss of GDP growth since you launched your nationalist tantrum. Still Liam. Fox has got lots of trade deals ready to go with poor countries far away, or has he??

Your posts are getting more desperate and a little hilarious. First, as a remainer, you don't want us to pay our dues (as Cunning Fergus said we aren't legally obligated but it is more a question of honour) which is quite a Brexiteer thing to complain about.

If you are truly concerned about the poor, what is your comment on the Greek situation, taken from the moment the EU fudged the stability pact and allowed them to join the Euro?

Your first line is confused and evades the subject anyway

If you want to talk about Greece start a new thread.

Keep on the subject

Lets leave it there

Weasels weasel.

You can carry on believing the nonsense inferred around this video if you like, but you will simply remain in ignorance.
No matter how much you think he is saying we could have a second referendum after withdrawal negotiations are completed, he isn’t. You are hearing only what you want to hear after being fooled into doing so.
Are you gullible or easily manipulated?

Im sorry you are wrong, And so are your thumbers Klaas and WATFORD zero
He is indeed saying we could have two referendums, and he is right we could, but he is not saying have the second referendum after negotiation for withdrawal is completed and therefore as you believe having a 2nd ref after finding out “what we were leaving to”.
That video, and the tweets that Thunder Bolt and others often share with this video in them do indeed try to infer Mogg is saying we could have a 1st ref and a leave decision and then a follow up 2nd referendum after negotiation for withdrawal is completed, but they are being deceitful and pushing a false narrative of what Mogg is saying. This nonsense has been pointed out before how its different circumstances but it still continues. You and others are too quick to believe this rubbish by simply hearing what you only want to hear.

Gosh. I've never been mentioned in a post because I've GIVEN A THUMBS UP to another poster before.

Some uncharitable people say that this kind of behaviour is the the hallmark of a an obsessive loner who spends far, far to much time 'hanging out' with the dregs of the internet.

Not me though. I'm far too nice.

“I think many people are now realising that we would support this deal to get it over the line.”

Conservative Brexiteer MP Nadine Dorries could vote for Theresa May’s deal “in the light of…these europhile kamikaze MPs”

Going to see this more over the next few days, Brixiteers/ERG are going to vote for this deal.

So if we have a socialist Govt that takes tax revenues from London and spends them disproportionately on areas outside London, like Liverpool or Middlesbrough would it piss you off that the poor in London could have had more?

The intentions of any Government to spend taxpayers monry should be set out in its election manifesto, a document made available to the public before an election. Whilst i know done of that is spin, increases to Govt spending and initatives are broadly set out.

The spending and performance of any UK Govt is always under scrutiny by the opposition and press/media which means to a greater or lesser extent the Govt is held accountable.

The EU conmission that directs where the EU budget is spent is not a) directly elected by the citizens or b) held accoutable in the same way. The EU model is therefore a worse alternative for managing how Govts spend taxpayers money.

It is a fact that any Govt spending taxpayers money will do so disproportionately, and spending more money in Liverpool rather than London is one thing, giving money to an institution to spend in other countries is another.

If British taxpayers can afford to give away billions to poorer foreign countries, I expect th UK to have no austerity, no programme of Govt cuts, no debt.

What about you, are you with The Clamps view that we should hand over all our tax income to the EU?

That doesn’t equate. I expect some of our contributions to go towards salaries, admin costs and other poorer areas of the EU. I can happily live with that.

I dare say you do, given your stated position the costs of another layer of Govt, civil service, expenses and everything else would be a cost you are prepared to bare in order to move to a fully federalised EU with the UK embedded into it. Presumably in this model the EU you can take advantage of upsides to reduce the equivalent layers of resources in the UK? You never know maybe you could save money if you moved a proportion of the back office bureaucracy to say Slovakia? How does this sound to you?

Make Chris Grayling the Brexit Secretary and leave him to it. In ten years we'll still be in the EU and it will all be the Unions' fault.

What he wrote made perfect sense.

The analogy was disingenuous and didn't make sense.

Many of the poorest areas of the UK have benefited from EU funding. Money that would NEVER have been directed to those areas by a Tory government. Or perhaps any British government. But certainly not this one.

The idea that we will see any benefit from not paying into the EU hinges on trusting the politicians in charge here to spend that money correctly.

Personally, I can see a major problem with that, based on the current government's record on public spending. Or lack of it.

So it's better that the mate with your £20 bought the round and himself a kebab than taking your £20, ****ing off with it, and buying himself a bottle of champagne to go home with, screwing you and all your mates as well.

The thing is you are essentially proposing to introduce 2 alternatives, 1) hand over spending responsibility to the EU whenever there is a Tory Govt or 2) Hand over full responsibility now.

We know 1) won’t happen but 2) could in a fully integrated EU with U.K. at the centre. I think this step would help remainders provide a more positive outlook on the future to, forecasts of doom are tiresome. What is the future for an integrated UK in the EU?

To clarify, I don’t really want to hand over all taxes to the EU, I exaggerated. But I am more than happy to give them the 0.07% we currently do.

Whilst I understand that this may soon be coming to an abrupt end, I also don’t really see it has “handing over money to the EU” as if they are an entity, abstract from the U.K. I see it as contributing to a community pot. A community we are part of. I consider my money going to another part of that community, be it Hull or a foreign country (or admin and salary costs, which are all accountable and available for anyone to review) as a worthwhile contribution to the community.

I don’t consider it a good thing to leave that community.

And you know, I’m pretty much done on that subject now.
