Mine was in a similarly difficult position to get to, managed to get it in the end with a long pole with a hot water bottle attached to it!

I still think you're level 4 is most other people's level 2.
You may have a point, I do get over excited.
Can you re-post the flumpage scale please as I now can’t find it.

Level 5 = Oh my god! Double Flumping - 20m or less visibility
Level 4 = Heavy snow - Flumping - 20m - 100m visibility
Level 3 = Medium intensity
Level 2 = Flizzle - Light snow falling consistently
Level 1 = Flurries - Similar to precum (a bit of excitement leading to the big event)
But we also have the granularity

Okay then, based on that, half an hour ago, we had level 3 large, it's now on level 1 small.
We are up the top of the hill though so I reckon that might account for some of the historical difference, maybe worth an extra 0.5 on the flumpage dial due to the extra altitude.

Ha, ha, yes just spoke to a mate of mine who is a plumber and said it takes about 5 days of constantly below zero temperatures for one of those to freeze. He said he had done 6 of them today!
