Apparently Sky Sports also claiming Norwich have 'hijacked' the deal, though this could merely chasing the rumour...

What I do not understand is if as suggested the deal was agreed with Spurs and personal terms with the player yesterday why wasnt the players contract for the FL signed yesterday and all the ' formalities' of the transfer completed today

Was under the impression that he hasn't agreed personal terms, hence he's looking at other offers? Wouldn't be surprised to see him talking to Newcastle when he realises what Norwich is like.

if the player is dithering then do we really want him 8m could be used for another player and probably at this moment is being used to lever another to come to the Albion

Maybe he wants to join Norwich because he's secretly in love with his cousin and he knows they will be accepted there. It's either Norwich or he waits for the first MLS franchise in Mississippi.

Personal terms were discussed.
At this point the agent knows what's on the table, and touts the player to try to get a better deal for player (and himself).

In the Argus it says; "The deal has been undone by an apparent last-ditch illegal approach for the 23-year-old attacking midfielder. "

What would constitute an illegal approach?

Poor journalism?

**** it. You can't waste your day refreshing NSC every few minutes in the hope he is going to sign. If he doesn't sign there is not a lot we can do about it. Got to move on, and just hope we get promoted. Money talks.
