[Albion] How does Chris fit Ulloa & Locadia into his starting line-up ?

I would go 4-3-3:

Ryan
Schelotto, Duffy, Dunk, Suttner
Gross, Stephens, Propper
Jose, Ulloa, Locadia

But I think CH will try:

Ryan
Schelotto, Duffy, Dunk, Suttner
Gross, Stephens, Propper, Jose
Locadia
Ulloa

We cannot play 3 at the back - the 3 have not got a clue what to do when a team runs at them, so stick to what we know best and try and remember how to defend properly.

Did AK and Ulloa ever play together at Leicester?

In the 2014-15 season they started two matches together in the Premier League and an FA Cup match. There were another 6 PL matches where they spent at least some minutes on the pitch together.

Ulloa is clearly a straight upgrade on Hemed. Locadia, on the other hand, having spent his entire career playing in the dubious Dutch divisions, could be absolutely anything (when he's no longer injured), from a Murray upgrade, to another Elvis. Feel much happier having Ulloa on board, on all sorts of levels.

Talking to someone who had talked to an influential writer in Dutch football about the two of them I'm willing to hedge that no one is another Elvis.

To the original question though and I like the 4-3-3s that have been posted up with Jose, Ulloa & Locadia in the front 3. Never going to happen though.

With respect, 'an influential writer in Dutch football' has about as much credibility as an influential footballer in Dutch football. Eredivisie is one piss-poor division.

With respect I'd believe the word of someone who'd met these players and repeatedly seen them play over someone who, well, hadn't.

Time will tell eh?

Some of NSC: We must sign a striker! Now!

Rest of NSC: But it must be the right player at the right price.

SONSC: No! Just sign one! How hard can it be FFS?

*Brighton sign a striker*

SONSC: No, no, no! Not HIM! He's injured. And shit. Sign a different one!

RONSC: He passed a medical and will be back in training in a week. And how do you know he's shit when you've never seen him?

SONSC: we just do! It's in our bones, we can feel it.

RONSC: that's not actually very scientific, give him a chance.

THPP: sorry chaps but I'm Scottish. You could write what I don't know about shit football on the back of a small Embassy packet.

*Rest of NSC concedes*

I don't think they'll be fit enough - bench at best for Ulloa and a run out in the last quarter. Locadia further away I think. Tomorrow I predict a familiar starting 11

Ryan
Bruno Dunk Duffy Suttner
Knockaert Stephens Propper March
Gross
Murray

Has anyone seen enough of Locadia to have any idea how to answer this question?

No, but on the basis that we’ve shelled out a lot of money for him then you’d expect that he’s going to be given his chance in the starting line up somehow once fit.

The opening post wasn’t referring to tomorrow’s game or even Saturday - it’s about when they are both fit and available to start a game.

Agreed - and the trouble with 3 centre halves is that Dunk plays on the left and is not around in the middle to put in his usual flying blocks. Also agree with the comments about trying Gross alongside Stephens / Kayal and pushing Propper further forward in role he plays (and scores in frequently) for Holland. Just hoping that Leo and especially Locadia can get fit asap and hit the top of their games - then run-in could be somewhat interesting despite some tough looking fixtures.
