We have had further discussions tonight about doing a live show and it could happen!!

We really do need to know that it would be supported before we commit though

Also, we have thrown a few names about tonight, but who would you like to see???

Be great to see an Albion legend recounting his escapades, someone from the Division One days maybe, or how about one of the late 80s heroes, or even a Withdean stalwart. I'm sure you can find someone who loves the limelight ;-)

As stated yesterday, we're live at 6.30pm this Friday, with guest PC Darren Balkham and another guest TBA.

Can I also point NSCers towards this weekend's 'Reverbathon'...?

REVERBATHON MARCH 2014

This March, RadioReverb is seven years old. And like any seven-year-old, we're funny, insightful, unpredictable, inventive and occasionally downright wilful. To mark that anniversary, we’ll be holding a "Reverbathon" fundraiser, broadcasting live from 8am on Saturday March 8th to midnight on Sunday 9th March 2014.

Sponsor one of our Programmes
Radio Reverb doesn't run advertisements - all our show are free of news, weather, travel and ad breaks. Nor are we subject to playing corporate playlists. We do, however, have overheads - rent, rates, heating, licences and so on - so we're looking for local businesses to sponsor an hour-long show for just £30.

Sponsors will receive:
- on-air credits for supporting RadioReverb and your sponsored programme;
- mentions of events you have coming up (where appropriate);
- the option to record a message for broadcast during your sponsored show;
- promotion on RadioReverb’s website and a link to your own web page;
- credits on RadioReverb’s social media (Facebook, Twitter) acknowledging your support for RadioReverb.

If anyone wishes to co-sponsor The Albion Roar for this one week, please let me know.

Alternatively, if anyone wishes to make an individual donation towards what we feel is a good service and an asset for Brighton & Hove, please go to www.radioreverb.com, and click on the DONATE button on the home page.

Thank you.

Please and thank you.

Last week's show with Darren Balkham is still up as a podcast. He was quite erudite about Sussex Police's role at the Amex and across the country - and within the FA.

Meanwhile, this week we have Sue Brown from AITC, as well as John Palfrey (aka Vicar) to talk about (a) two matches this week and (b) Prostate Cancer Awareness month. Should be interesting.

In addition to Sue and John, we also have Ed Bassford joining us to tell us his story, and how he is getting on.

Additionally, The Roar has started a blog - as if being on the radio wasn't enough. Only one story in there - a tribute to Gary Hart originally posted on Facebook. albionroar.wordpress.com

If you haven't done so yet, take a moment to listen to John Palfrey (aka Vicar) and Ed Bassford (aka Lord Bracknell) on this week's Albion Roar as the spoke about their experiences on being told that they had cancer, their concerns, worries, treatment and mental attitude towards fighting it.

Worth listening to these two fellas. :)

This month is Prostate Cancer Awareness month, so we also had Sue Brown from AITC Health who are promoting the issue through the club, to talk about tackling a specifically male problem.
