Gong - Camembert Electrique
David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars
Motörhead- 1916
Guns n Roses - Appetite for Destruction
Metallica - Metallica
Slaughter and the Dogs - Do it Dog Style
Kendal Carson - Rearview Mirror Tears

Not a single filler on any of those beauties.
Ziggy, in my mind, slips up with It ain't easy.

Orbital - In sides.

though have to take issue with the criteria of "maintain a narrative". very few albums have a narrative, they are a collection of work not necessarily a story.
and there's no such thing as perfect length or cover.

I think you might be taking the term narrative too literally. There was a similar thread a few months back and I posted Master of Puppets. This album certainly maintains a narrative but more the story of the band and their trajectory at the time, although some tracks from this album certainly have a theme. Narrative can also mean a set of songs that “fit” together, in whatever way. Narrative doesn’t necessarily have to mean a literal story or theme in all the songs imho.

Very few albums meet this criteria as they normally have at least one or two bum songs however for me personally:
Letfield - Leftism, perfection all the way through and 23 years on still sounds fresh.
The Verve - urban hymns
Ocean Colour Scene - Mosley Shoals
Radiohead - OK computer

I can't find too much fault with these:

Liege and Lief: Fairport Convention
Pink Moon: Nick Drake
Stooges: Fun House
Kraftwerk: Trans Europe Express
Serge Gainsbourg: Histoire de Melody Nelson
Yes: Close to the Edge
Joni Mitchell: Hejira
