It's as if posters on NSC are physical incapable of learning lessons.

Far better squad than us

Wouldn't write them off just yet

Everyone laughed at Swansea when they appointed Clement last season. Admittedly he got binned and they are in the shit now, but he kept them up!

Pulis out Pardew in
Pardew out Hodgson in
Monk out Pulis in
Hughes out Lambert in....

Put your left foot in
Put your left boot out
Put your left foot in
And shake it all about
And dance with boogie
And turn around
That's what's its all about

Let’s hope he goes in and thinks Berahino is Messi and plays him till the end of season.

I look forward to hearing every pundit and commentator tell us that Lambert won the CL with Dortmund in 1997 between now and when he inevitably leaves the club.

All we need is Stoke to have a new manager bounce tonight, and that will cap off a terrific weekend....

agreed, but they now have an awful manager imo, which could help us.

Is anyone else amazed Wales have appointed Ryan Giggs when Mark Hughes could be available? MH improved Wales when they had limited resources, and then had a solid PL management career.

I guess he got a decent payoff from Stoke which might be jeopardised by a quick appointment elsewhere, but even so?

Hughes is same age as me, so inevitably have followed his career. Massive success at United, Chelsea, Barcelona and elsewhere. Not the most charismatic as a manager, but he has achieved a huge amount in his career overall.

Lambert is a decent appointment. For us.

I know how I'd feel if Bloom sacked Hughton and replaced him with Lambert - hopping mad!

We know Stoke wanted O'Neill and Quique Sanchez Flores, you've got to wonder how far down the list Lambert actually was.

Is Paul Lambert that bad a manager? He took charge of Villa when Lerner had pretty much given up investing in the club. At Wolves he didn't pull up any trees, granted. Back to back promotions at Norwich was no mean achievement though. Only Lambert and Adkins have done that in recent history.

This could be funny or tragic this evening. Hopefully both. I feel dirty cheering on the red shite, but needs must....
