I knew we were playing Spurs on Saturday, of course, but had no reason to think it was anything other than a 3pm so I'd not checked.

(The main reason I started this thread was for those folk who don't have a Papa Lazarou reminder service)

With respect, it could only be a Papa Lazarou reminder service had you previously been aware of the change to the kick off time, but this change of circumstance had subsequently slipped your mind. Being as you were, in fact, unaware that the kick off had been altered, in primo loco, and only become cognisant of this fact once Papa Lazarou advised you so, I would boldy suggest that on this ocassion Papa Lazarou is the provider of an advisory service as opposed to a reminder service.

When first changed.....matches and kick off times shoved in phone calendar to make sure nothing clashes with footie

This. I put it in the diary but hadn't realised until this week when I was planning my Saturday evening and spotted it in the diary

Earlier this week. Was looking at the fixture list to see which saturday's are football-free over the next couple of months and noticed the KO for tomorrow.
