Agree. I only used him the once, a little out of desperation to be truthful as he obviously is based far from me, but he identified the issue pretty quickly just by asking me questions and poking about, gave me some excercises and I was sorted with a few weeks and back out pounding the pavements.

He’s helped so many of us, maybe we should get him a little memento or something? Is he starting a practice in Winnipeg? Maybe a plaque from NSC Runners to pop on the wall of his new practice? Any other ideas?

He is setting up the same concept in a friend's gym over there. Presumably he won't now have to walk clients through the men's changing rooms, past the saunas, round the nail clinic and into his dingy cupboard where miracles occur.

You are right about a memento. Can only think of a half and half Brighton Winnepeg scarf, if someone can knit that :lol:
Otherwise I will happily deliver a card in person with the names on here of anyone who wishes to be on it. State on here or pm.

I'm in. I only went to see him once, but what he did - and the stretches he suggested - sorted me out pretty much straight away...

Top fella.

Brighton
It’s half time at Selhurst and I’m already worried about the effects on my marathon tomorrow - my legs hurt from jumping up and down, my chest hurts from the combined effects of singing and the flares being let off in the Brighton end, and as for my heart rate .....

Hi knocky1, would it be possible to update a couple of new PBs from me next time around the table is updated? Today's parkrun PB of 18:24 (AG 74.18%) and HM PB of 1:23:36 from the London Big Half a few weeks ago? Many thanks!

Best of luck to everyone running Brighton tomorrow! :albion2:

Good luck everyone tomorrow. Would be good to get race numbers so I can track you all on the app.

I went to the race village today to collect my 10k race pack but low and behold I had never registered. I could of sworn I did last April or May but I’ve doubled and tripled checked and no I haven’t.

Not such a blow as I’ve been recovering from injury so my time would have been nothing to write home about. Will run on my own early tomorrow then get to Grand Ave to watch everyone.

Did consider running as a bandit but I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing it.

Could you change my 5k SB to 22:40 and my AG to 71.99% when you get a chance? You already did it last week I think, but this version seems to have reverted to a previous set of data.
Cheers

Anymore bib numbers so I can track tomorrow? I've got all of you that I know personally but I'd love to track all of you, in particular Curious Orange & deletebeepbeepbeep so I can watch the race for the gold medal unfold, unless The Complete Badger makes a charge.

Mrs simgull will be outside Velvet on Church Rd nearby (next to Nick Rivett Sports) from around midday if you want some company plus a couple of others you know I think - Ben, Steve. Should be a good atmosphere there as lots of our club cheering there.
