Brown Sauce.

I have a vague recollection there was always a bottle on the go when I was a kid, but it was something I never got involved with. Possibly not atypical growing up in the South.

And whilst there's often been a bottle in my own fridge, it's been there because sometimes guests like a dollop with their breakfast.

It was probably only a year or so ago that I gave it a proper try and what a revelation it was. I can't get enough of the stuff now, and I feel slightly disappointed that so much of my life passed without brown sauce being a part of it.

What have you get involved with that you wish you'd had when you were younger?

Brown Sauce in a bacon or sausage sarnie is heaven.

I couldn't live without music, so if I could've had my iPod when a yoof, I'd be laughing.

To stay with the theme - grated cheese along with brown sauce in a bacon or sausage sarnie . Superb addition

Internet porn.
Gone are the days of jumping on your Raleigh burner, searching for the legendary jazz mag that's rumoured to be tucked away in a bush somewhere up the downs.

Strange person. I have always preferred brown sauce over red on anything.

Guinness , and separately, red wine.

Tried both (red wine was an horrific drunken escapade in Marseille)when I was a youngster, and didn’t like either. I’m rather fond of both now I’m nearing my dotage.

I think tomato is better with sausages. Always brown on cheese-on-toast. As well as some Worcestershire sauce.
