Yes, we are getting there to our initial target, which is AMAZING

Total costs however are going to be around £11000

At the moment the players and parents will have to make up the difference

Ouch! That's a big difference to spring on us so late in the day. Crowdfunding page last time i looked said 26 days remaining, even tho the story associated with the page says you're setting off this Friday.

Wishing you all good things as always. There's 2 home games in the space of four days coming up however. Any chance of AITC arranging a bucket collection for both games? Could REMF lob in some money? Could somebody approach the club with a view to matching pound for pound donations? No way should the players and parents have to make up the difference. They've got WAY more than enough on their plate already.

Thanks to everyone who donated and supported our team in the European Cup finals

Here's a quick run down of how it went down..........

On Monday we won 3-1 against the Danish side Aarhus. (previous Danish Champions)

Tuesday we lost 0-1 to West Brom, but bounced back well to beat the Irish Champions, Midlands United 3-0.

We went into our final game on Wednesday morning knowing we had to beat the French Champions Auch by at least 4 goals to make the semifinals.
We knew this was going to be difficult as they had previously beaten West Brom 7-1.
A hard fought game where we played passing football against a very aggressive French style. We won the game 3-2 but missed out on progressing from the group only on goal difference.

The Cup was finally won by Auch and we were the only team in the competition to beat them, a side previously unbeaten in 3 years, conceding no goals from open play.

We are very proud of our achievement at our first European Cup and also proud in beating the French Champions, Irish Champions and English Champions in recent games
