4-year loan deal, like Lualua?

Blimey, maybe BG was onto something - there are such things as 3-year loan deals

What is the loan system?

Can a player be loaned out from a club where he is already on loan?

Incredibly yes! Yesterday Leicester signed Mali international Molla Wague on loan from Udinese, where he is already on loan from Granada.

This was possible because any loan spell lasting a season or more is registered as a permanent transfer by Fifa, and Wague was sent on a three-year loan to Italy by the Spanish club in 2014.

Both Granada and Udinese had to agree for the defender to make the move to the King Power Stadium.

Udinese and Watford owners the Pozzo family have become specialists in the 'three-club loan deal'.

In 2013, the Hornets sent Udinese loanee Steve Leo Beleck on loan to Stevenage.

I think LuaLua's deal was three years

Believe it or not, I think it is actually possible and legitimate for a club to loan a player from another club, and then loan them on to a third club (as long as the owning club agree). Actually read about an instance of that the other week, although I can't be bothered to try and find the details now. Can't remember what the circumstances were.

Watford have been involved in 3-way deals involving Udinese several times

I'm getting bored with this. Why can't he just make his bloody mind up. If this is indicative of the general standard of his decision making on the pitch then Newcastle are welcome to him!

I think he's on international duty.

My concern with Tammy is that if we do play one up-front, it's a lot to ask a 19 year old to play that role in the toughest league in the world

Whoever we sign as a target man, we must also buy a PL quality striker with pace who can bang the goals in.

Without that, I'm sorry, but relegation would be probable. Goals are vital to avoid doing a Sunderland/Middlesborough.

Nothing against the fantastic Murray and Baldock, but age with Murray, and injuries, we need options of PL quality.

What is 'doing a Sunderland'? Hanging around in the Premier League for years, or signing a proven goal scorer like Jerman Defoe? Both sound pretty terrible, I admit.

I think he will sign for a completely different team. I would if I was him. I think I would sign for Fulham if I could?

I am not fussed if we sign him or not.

"It is a dark day when a player can’t decide between Newcastle and Brighton it should be an easy choice!"

Why an easy choice? Both teams have good established managers and infrastructure. One team has huge passionate crowds, a long tradition and is based in a great city to live in. The other club is up and coming based in a nice part of the country with better weather and is closer to London. Other issues like money and guarantees of playing time will also be important. I can fully understand why this could be a difficult decision. I just hope he comes to us....

But you are putting forward rational arguments.

He is unlikely to get guarantees on playing time at either club.

Not at all sure about signing Tammy Abraham. Bit of a girl's name shirley?

On the other hand, would be absolutely delighted with the signing of Kevin Oghenetega Tamaraebi Bakumo-Abraham. Or 'Kev' for short. :moo:

Might be a girl's name but you have to stand by your man. If you love him, you'll forgive him.
