He proved last year against us that he is very good at time wasting. Stockdale's injury must be worst than first feared but Walton or Angerkren will have to play on Tuesday as I doubt Wigan would allow Al Habsi to play against them.

Begs the question why was Casper kept on? If we've no faith in him and dont think Walton is up to playing regularly, shouldn't we have released him and got in a cheap back up to Stockdale?

Just another question to add to who really decides our recruitment and retained lists within the club and do they really know what they are doing?

Was it not said Stockdale has a broken finger so perhaps they do not consider either Ankergren or Walton sufficient for an extended run in the side. Ok for a game or part of but not 6 or 7 games.

It will be temporary cover only. We need three keepers as injury or illness can happen at any time, which is why Brezovan played at Huddersfield two years ago. Kuszczak had a poisoned finger, Ankergren was ill, so we had to use our third choice keeper. It will be cheap and nothing like trying to find a striker.

Do you mean we pay two goalkeepers for when the number 1 gets injured, then when he does we have no faith in them. That's a stunning thought.

Complete waste of money as Walton and Casper can cover til He's back...You do have to question what goes on with the recruiting here at times. If one of these gets injured at some point then just get an emergency loan at the last minute, but no need to get another keeper in when we have two.

Surely having Walton and Ankergren as back up is fine?

Walton should start forever, any other option is a waste of dosh & a confidence drainer for the youngster. He's 19 in a week or so not 15

This is the correct answer. How people have so much difficulty trying to understand this baffles me.
