Which of the weather gurus is on the early shift? Disgraceful behaviour, Papa sort your men out.
We demand up to date forecasts, the twits on the tv are a waste of space.

The forecast suggests heavy snow between 12 and 5pm, so though kids are going to be able to get to school without any problems, getting them home may be harder

Yep. Down here in the SW it didn't start snowing til 9.30 so all kids went to school - half an hour later in the middle of a blizzard they decided to close the schools, but this is a very rural area and the roads quickly blocked up, some kids spent most of the day at the bus depot waiting for minibuses with chains to come and rescue them, cars abandoned all over the place, my wife and two girls had to abandon their car and walk for an hour (which they thoroughly enjoyed of course!!). Sometimes it makes sense just to forecast these things and stay closed

An overnight night/early morning dusting in Findon, level 1 snow continuing at the moment.

Looks like the big stuff is missing us today and tomorrow.

Quite heavy in Wadhurst. We’re 30 miles from the coast so thought Brighton would be copping it first?

Looks like it will be clear of the coast by 8am and then that’s it for the day? The major stuff appears to have landed in the channel! Bloody EU nicking everything they can whilst they can. Typical.

Looks like it's right above us with plenty behind it coming our way too.

I’m just looking out of the window and see level 1 stuff and also at the radar which shows it getting weaker as it hits the coast and then not much else to come.

I think that’ll be it for Findon soon sadly

Now down to level 0.1 in Findon.

Bye bye snow for this season. :(
