On the subject of Pascal Gross, that cross last Friday night for March's headed goal was an absolute peach. Right on the money. My dead cat would have buried that. Hopefully Gross will go from strength to strength.

Every so often you come across players like Gross.

You watch him in matches and you don't see much of a footballer there but who just has the knack of just popping up frequently in matches and does something which produces a goal. They are worth their weight in gold but to describe them as the bargain buy of the season. I wouldn't go that far but I have a feeling he might just be a productive team member than great footballing team member

Imo the best cross I have seen since Barnes to Ulloa v Arsenal.

You're right about the cross. I had the pleasure to witness it, it was vicious, whipped in with pace. He also hit a stunning long pass to March to initiate the extended one-two that set up Gross' first goal against WBA.

So far we have scored 4 league goals this season. Gross scored the first two and provided the crosses for the other two. We need some of the other players to step up, Gross is already there.

And Propper.

Ryan was rightly criticized after a very poor start to his Albion career. I'm still not convinced by him but will leave it at that. For me the jury is still out for Stuttner.

The Italian has made a good impact but concerns over Jose already.

Gross has been a great signing and will only get better along with Propper.

The truth is it’s ridiculously early to be able to form a definitive assessment on any of our new signings.

However it’s not unreasonable to speculate that Groß may turn out to be one of the best value signings in the PL this season given his impact to date. Time will tell.

I like the look of Gross and Propper. Hopefully Gross can continue his great form, would be a nightmare if he got injured.

People saying they are concered about Jose, think we need to give him more time.
