SSN reporting Swansea have made a £13m profit in the last financial year, compared to a loss in the year before, and Arsenal have increased their profits to £25 million. Seems that El Presidente was spot on when predicting that the current TV deal means that PL teams can make a profit again.

But are their fans getting value for money? And will the Albion finally be able to pay Tony back a bit of spondulix?

Arsenal are the most expensive team to watch in world football, yet the profits back their fans theory that they don't wholly invest income in new world class players.

Did Swansea achieve that by being massive net sellers of players in 16/17?

Surely spending an extra 25 million on players would make very little difference to Arsenal ? Any more than that would be living beyond their means. Maybe Arsenal fans should get back in the real world and adjust their expectations accordingly.
