Train Problems from Falmer to Lewes

All commuters will just see this as the normal standard applied by Southern. Any delay on a connecting train and they will just let the train leave rather than actually consider passenger satisfaction. The reason is always given as timetabled to leave at that time, and we must adhere to that, completely overlooking the late running previous train.

The other response is well you can claim on delay repay due to missed connection.

I think this poor, but I can see some sort of argument here. However, what annoyed me in this case was that the guard did hold the train and opened the doors to allow the two members of staff from the delayed train on, but refused to let us on (even though we arrived before the staff did). He said "I have to let staff on but I don't have to let passengers on."
