The only time in recent memory that Mayweather has struggled is against the unorthodox Maidana, not saying that will be the case but it's something to consider. Also McGregor is the bigger man physically.

what? please give me some stats on this statement.

Money generated, bums on seats and PPV sales ect

Although MMA only emerged in the 1990s, its growth has been, quite simply, phenomenal; it is currently one of the fastest growing sports in the world. According to a recent report, MMA is second only to adventure racing when it comes to growing participation, recording a 19.5% increase since 2013.

Think about it, women in boxing is a non entity. Women in MMA is a marketable product.

Since 2013 MMA has had 8 PPV draws over 1 million, Boxing only 4.

Over their last 5 fights:

Mayweather PPV buys 3.44 million
McGregor PPV buys 5.2 million

Mayweather attendance 52,000
McGregor attendance 62,000

So McGregor has brought in close to 2 million more PPV buys than Mayweather has.

UFC/MMA is huge in North and South America.
Been up and down here for a little over a year now and I've yet to meet anyone into Boxing.
Everyone loves UFC, both guys and girls.

Most bars show all UFC events, never see anything with boxing. I have to find my own streams at home.
Boxing is far too slow in producing great fights.
UFC get fights going quickly.

And this is coming from a boxing fan with very little interest in UFC.

fair enough, but was not mayweathe'rs fight 5 times more on PPV cost? resulting in considerably more money generated? if it was £20 like normal it would've generated a lot more buys.

Didnt AJ just break PPV records against Wald?

AJ... 90k one fight.

Is Mayweather at 1/5 good for a massive bet or am I just being a dick again
1/5 is buying money.

Some Irish guy shouting his mouth off coming out of a pub should not change that. He has not done boxing before against one of the greats(not exciting) of all time.
