The latest on there is Billy Sharp risen from the dead and going in shock move to Portsmouth in January so would that open the door for us to move for Connor Chaplin.

Is this the Billy Sharp that is from Sheffield, a Sheffield United fan and the 2nd top scorer in league one for his home town club who are pushing for promotion to the championship? Why on earth would he move to Portsmouth in league 2? (and why would we sign Connor Chaplin?)

Conor Chaplin is a 19 year old striker from Worthing. Short just 5ft 6in tall but very quick and has scored 14 goals in 56 games so 1 in 4. He would be one for the future in a similar role to SB and receiving rave reviews at Portsmouth. Sharp was at Southampton so perhaps has a house down there still and like most footballers money talks but the site says he has fallen out with Chris Wilder, hence the rumoured move.
Rumours is full of suggested activity at Wolves like Jordan Rhodes and Chuba Akpom joining in January plus a bid of 2m Euros for a Brazilian CB Felipe Santana.

Why would we bid 2million for a 30 year old CB? It is probably the position that we have the highest quality and numbers in
