I've never spoken about my colleagues in that language and I'm fairly certain I would be sacked if I did, private, public, in pub, on facebook, wherever. It shows you how he sees he's female colleagues, and it's not as his equal......

It's a part success if these people keep their opinions private but what we really need is people that don't have them in the first place and would not dream of sending them even privately. Pretty much this, rightly or wrongly. It's easy to become blase about emails and forget.....but as head of a big organisation like this he has been a complete fool (reports this morning indicate it was his PL email account, and would be completely normal for his PA to have access to his account). If he was a senior in Barclays and did this (reference an earlier post) he would certainly be facing a disciplinary investigation.
