New signing Emmanuel Ledesma has finally achieved his wish of signing for Albion.
He had a trial with the Seagulls during the Withdean era but was not offered a deal.
Right-winger Ledesma is brave as well as talented.
How else would you describe a player prepared to lunge in two-footed on the Seagulls' former rock, Adam El-Abd?
Here are ten things about Albion's fifth loan capture
26, born in Quilmes, a province of the capital Buenos Aires
Has played in England for QPR (loan), Walsall (twice), Middlesbrough and Rotherham (loan)
Had spells in Italy with Serie A Geonoa and Serie B Salemitano (loan), Novara (loan) and Crotone
Was on trial with Albion during Gus Poyet's reign and scored on his debut for the reserves
Saw red for a two-footed challenge on Adam El-Abd as Albion clinched the League One title with a 3-1 win at Walsall in April 2011
Returned to Argentina with boyhood club Defensa y Justicia in-between his stints at Walsall
Scored on his debut for Middlesbrough in a League Cup tie against Bury in August 2012 after signing a three-year contract
Made his debut on loan to Rotherham in November in a 1-0 defeat by Birmingham, Albion's opponents at the Amex on Saturday
Reached 100 league appearances on his last first team outing when he scored for Rotherham at Blackpool at the end of December
Hit a hat-trick for Boro's under-21s in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Blackpool on Tuesday
