I know there are quite a few fans of comedy on this board.

Tonight sees a special show dedicated to (one of) Britain’s finest comedian(s) celebrating his 60th birthday.

I’ve seen a preview and it looks bloody hilarious including a special skit with with Sir Trevor McDonald without giving too much away.

I have nothing against him at all, a decent comedian with other talents.
Will watch tonight.
Met him a long time ago in Highgate with Dawn French, both miserable.

Growing up in the 80s I loved him on Tiswas (along with Sally James obviously).

But it’s almost like he forgot how to be funny. Some of his stuff has been clever - but just not funny.
