Went to take some jump leads into the North Stand once. Stewards said 'OK, but dont try and start anything'.

Took my dear old Dad's ashes in an old bleach container in order to scatter them. Endured the usual search, quizzical inspection by the ever diligent steward whereupon he said I couldn't take it in as it appeared suspicious. Coming to something where you can't take a bottle of pop into a match.

I once took a banana, just because it was so a-peeling.

As for taking the risk with smuggling in meat, just remember:

when the steaks are high, raise your chips to get the most tender.
