OK, so it's finally time to kick-off the World Cup-style tournament for the 18 completed squads assembled in the NSC Premier League Draft as shown here:

Not surprised to see Darren Freeman not getting any votes. No flash players. The thing is, that in reality, he'd probably go and beat all the others.

I tried to vote for more than 1 team and it only accepted a single vote. Had i known that, then his team would have been the one to get my vote.

Makes you wonder how many others have been affected by this in both groups?

Just like to say a few words about my team. Starting with the spine...

NIGEL MARTYN won PFA Goalkeeper of the year in 1999 ahead of his Man Utd opposite number
FRANK LEBŒUF marked Ronaldo out of the game in the 1998 World Cup Final
GARY PALLISTER appeared in the PFA team of the year 7 times and won 4 Premier Leagues
STEVEN GERRARD is one of the Premier League's best ever players and needs no introduction!
MICHAEL ESSIEN was a key part of Mourinho's title winning Chelsea sides and a rock in midfield
KEVIN PHILLIPS is the only Englishman ever to win the European Golden Shoe with 30 league goals in 1999-2000
MICHEAL OWEN had 150 Premjer League goals to his name as well as 40 goals for England

And out wide, ANTONIO VALENCIA and JOHN ARNE RIISE will terrify full backs by overlapping DARREN ANDERTON and LEE SHARPE down the wings. To come on I have:
TIM KRUL - winner of penalty shoot outs
LUKE YOUNG - over 350 Premier League appearances
MARK WRIGHT - ended his career in the Premier League with 7 years at Liverpool
MATT HOLLAND - ever present, playing 223 consecutive games for Ipswich
GABRIEL AGBONLAHOR - great servant to Aston Villa out wide and up top, with great pace and power
My team has a wealth of experience to draw upon as well as pace, hard graft and skill. I believe I have compiled a team capable of winning a Premier League and hopefully, getting out of this group!

Vote team stripeyshark!

The four qualifiers from Group A are:

Cullip4
DarrenFreemansPerm
moggy
Shatner's Bassoon

Each of them will be matched against one of the qualifiers from Group B in the Quarter Finals - the draw will be made and the polls set in motion imminently.
