Some of the best football memories as a kid was watching the Cup Final on BBC. 3+ hour coverage before the game, made a full day of it.
Shame that football is totally and purely about money and profit these days.

This. Winning the FA Cup confers footballing immortality whereas no-one will remember where Stoke or Swansea finish next season. And winning the FA Cup will make TB some money (even if the Europa League tends to be a money-loser).
Plus the biggest bonus of all. ERNEST will be able to construct NEW conspiracy THEORIES about where the 2018 FA cup MONEY went.

We would come down, but we can come back up again. But you can't take 'Brighton And Hove Albion 2018 Winners' off the FA Cup trophy. I'd feel immense pride.
