I would quite like to watch a bit more non-league football this year rather than the constant sky hyperbole juggernaut. Went to watch AFC Varndenians before Christmas and enjoyed strolling up to Withers 10 mins before kick off, no crowds, had a drink and chat with a mate and was home 5 mins after final whistle. I wonder if non-league is the way to go for those who have lost a bit of love for the beautiful game.

I could walk away from it tomorrow.
In a couple of years, I hope to be retired and then the choice will have to be made between golf club membership or a season ticket at the Albion, and golf will win out of that I have no doubt.
I would certainly miss it, but as I haven't been away for 3 years, my football fix is the Amex or TV and as MRS DTG works at a school, holidays have to be taken in school holidays time like august and Easter, which means I tend to miss a couple of games at the beginning of the season and a couple around Easter...with so few games in the Prem, it means for me it is not worth renewing sometimes.
Then you get the mails from the 6 year old in our marketing department and get referred to as customers, you can see why people will walk away( as my brother and brother in law did)

I sometimes go to watch my local adopted team FC Tokyo but it just ain't the same.

I am as much 'all over it' as I ever was. I take a bit more interest in the PL now, in exchange for a bit less interest in the Championship, but this is mainly about time available. I Still find myself boring Mrs T to death with anecdotes about Nigel Clough, and updates on the career of Nathan Jones etc.
I love the Albion and I do still enjoy football. That said, I'm far more discerning these days over non-Albion football and I'd much rather watch a decent game of rugby than a mediocre game of football, which is not something I'd have said in my 20s. As for the Albion, well it's in our blood isn't it? I'll never be able to escape from following the club whether as a season ticket holder, watching from thousands of miles away, or somewhere in between.

Getting more that way. It takes something special otherwise I normally might dip in and out of a game on the box or perhaps watch the last 10-15 minutes. I made an exception for the Man City Liverpool game last week.
Wrong game.
I watched my first full non Albion game for years.
Newport v Leicester and I thoroughly enjoyed it, much to my surprise.

Nothing but Albion for 42 years now. But since we have been in the PL I have enjoyed watching other games more. Not interested in the lower leagues or Champions League. Last world cup I watched the England games for the first time since the South Africa WC debacle which put me off watching England for years.
Love my Albion though.

Big PL / European games I find still offer something, and seemingly unusually among football fans I quite like international football (competitive matches, anyway).

The only team whose result is of importance for me is Brighton’s. Watching them I want them to score and celebrate with a genuine feeling of pleasure.
When watching other teams play, live or on TV I can be far more unbiased and enjoy the skills on display.
I regularly go to watch Crawley play but really don’t care if they win - apart from the match itself however it is a far more pleasant experience, park the car less than a minutes walk away from the stadium with no charge, hardly any queue for the bar, cheap ticket, order your half time drink before the match, standing areas behind the goal, POTG, flasks allowed, no search on entry, caps on bottles.

I like watching Champions League, and other 'big' games (FA cup finals etc) - but with a family, I get little chance to do this exclusively.
I go to a couple of games a season as a neutral (usually london teams via friends or work), and like going to games abroad (I get to work on a few and make a trip with my dad once every year or so).
But in week-by-week reality I only make time for watching or listening to Brighton matches. I am very happy with a win, but I am too old to care if we lose. If we got relegated I wouldn't give two stuffs, and would welcome the extra midweek games which are easier for me to attend than weekends. There would also be more tickets available to take my daughter who is nearly old enough to come along now.

I watch a fair few PL games on TV, not just Brighton. It's mainly to do with the timezone I'm in. It's nice to get up on a weekend morning and stick on whatever games are being shown. It's more of a background thing whilst I'm having breakfast or cleaning up my flat.
I also keep an eye out for teams I dislike. It's nice to see Reading struggling this season

Never watch any other football these days, or have any interest in it. The last few years has seen my enjoyment of the game diminish dramatically - and I really couldn't tell you where a team was in the table apart from BHAFC tbh. Much prefer watching other sports these days.

I like to place 'both teams score' accas, so it gives me an interest each day on the results. Today I'm interested in games in Tanzania, Uganda and Greece. Come on Jinja, score!!!!

Football is the first thing I loved. It’s dominated my imagination and thoughts since I was 6. It’s health and wellbeing are really important to me. I love it now and I’ll never fully turn my back on it.
However, I’ve got a wife and a couple of kids and so my days of being able to spend 10-15 hours per week on it have gone. I’m also concerned that the soul is being sucked out by commercialism, though maybe that’s just because my team are in the premier league, if we were still in league 2, I doubt I’d feel like that. I also love the World Cup. It’s the best entertainment concept ever devised and the greatest unifying force on earth.

Yep. Have no interest whatsoever in any other team (apart from England). Don't care who we are playing I am just interested in watching us.

I support BHA, but prefer lower league football tbh. I keep an eye on results in the Championship.
I used to enjoy going to the Dripping Pan or East Brighton Park, but don't have the time atm.
Can't beat standing behind the goal in the freezing cold and going for a half time pint in a steamy club house
