Once you get your head around it, it's a really good idea.

Means competitive football but also creates a pathway for smaller nations to qualify (although I'm sure Scotland will still manage to F it up!)
It also explains Holland's current form.

I’ve always liked the idea of an international league as it gives a better measure of a country’s ability to create a strong squad rather than a team.

Wonder how long it will be before Brazil and Argentina get invited to join in and it becomes a 'World league'

How will this effect coefficients I wonder? I don't really understand that system but seems like this will keep the top nations at the top and the small nations down the bottom if there is no chance to play and beat a far superior team and rack up points.

It will stop countries not playing to avoid damage to their coefficient, like Wales and Switzerland have done.

I look forward to this tournament being a specialised subject on Mastermind in the future. If anyone can get their heads round this they deserve to be crowned Mastermind champion

So after all that, we didn't relegate Croatia - and Germany remain in the top table - as UEFA has expanded the top tier.

FIX!!!

That’s annoying! Do like this competition though and getting to play competitive matches against other good nations. One thing UEFA have actually got spot on and improved the game with... finally.
