More than replaced by this lot - Peter Goldstein, a founder of Superdrug, Steve Dowdle, the former vice president Europe of technology firm Sony, David Sismey, a MD of Goldman Sachs and Sir Patrick Sheehy, the former chairman of British American Tobacco.

Two 'formers' and a founder among your four examples. Are they signatories to the letter to the Telegraph? That certainly included a few heavyweights but as the Guardian points out...

"Business figures who signed an open letter supporting Brexit include tax avoidance specialists, dozens of retirees and the publisher of a book about Ukip introduced by Nigel Farage.
The list of more than 300 people also includes the bosses of dormant companies and a law firm that admits leaving the European Union could lead to a repeal of workers’ rights."

Barrel-scraping in order to get the numbers up?

Okay, thank-you for clarifying, it's very difficult to keep up as to who you're insulting.

That's very easy.If people call me a racist,brain-dead,window-licker,chimp,liar,xenophobe,little-englander,hoping I die soon, preferably from cancer and some of the other numerous insults I have had on here,I tend to respond. If I can find any way of provoking the ignorant crew,I will use it.Funnily enough,I've only had one infraction on here,so tit-for-tat seems to be tolerated.

It appears the insults flow both ways rather freely on this thread. Most from the remainers hence I mostly just read it these days

Interesting to see economic migrants seeking prosperity and a better life using this route. I would have thought jumping on a train from London to Paris would be a better option?

You trade down when things get tough, or just buy a microwave

I think Mr Martin is rather unhappy now he's going to be facing potential staff shortage problems he hadn't envisaged when campaigning for 'leave' and is going to have raise salaries. The only change he wanted to FOM was to exclude workers from future new EU countries as he didn't have a problem with it. Never mind.

Really surprised that they don't stay in Germany.Maybe they have heard Wetherspoons need staff who work, not moan? They certainly wouldn't bother with Paris-if all the French people in London go home, there won't be any room there.Youth unemployment approaching 25% in France,so too much competition for jobs.

I'm confused. The argument that FOM has suppressed wages is one the remainers have always said wasn't true. They have also suggested that by leaving the laws to protect pay levels would be dismantled by the Tories to the benefit of big business. Now you, as a remainer, are suggesting wages will need to go up, somewhat backing up the leavers argument of wage suppression !
