Black Friday always passes me by. I can't think of anything I need/want, let alone anything I need/want that will be discounted today. I guess it could be a good opportunity to save money on Christmas presents, but I have given no thought as to what to buy for people yet.

Additionally the sheer DELUGE of Black Friday emails has me drowning in offers/supposed offers.

Anyway, a sprinkling of those in my Inbox this morning.

John Lewis includes Sonos Play:1 down £30 to £139 (never see these reduced), Bose SoundTrue II headphones down £60 to £79.95, Sennheiser CX700s down £70 to £129.95 and £100 off new MacBook Pros.

Apple - Gift voucher from £20 - £120 with every Apple purchase including iPhones, iPads, Macs and Apple Watch.

Amazon: too many things to mention, although they are discounting all their own stuff including Kindles, Echo, Echo Dot and Fire TV stick.

Does the Amazon link include the NSC referral, to avoid losing any revenue for NSC?

Another unwanted import from the USA. I shall let it pass me by and keep my money for another day.

I do wonder given that they always seem to have a sale what do DFS do for today.

Most sales these days seem like they've had the prices manipulated beforehand unless it is a genuine 50% off everything sort of sale. Bought a new TV and next month saw te same tv, in the same shop, £30 more expensive during a sale! Reason was the next model up was reduced so they were trying to make that look like more of a bargain.

20% off at Adidas UK using code BLACKFRIDAY - update your gazelles

And just bought 2 Sonos Play 1's - cheers Bozza

Bollocks. They're also £139 at Amazon. I just noticed as someone bought one via NSC yesterday. Do you have any idea how much you've cost NSC by not buying from Amazon? No? Well, neither do I frankly.

For everyone else: Sonos Play:1s £139 at Amazon link

Hither (sometimes Thither)
My plan was to stay awake until midnight and go and buy myself a Dell laptop for either £129 or £199. I passed out around 8.57pm on the couch, only coming round at 00.42. Nadgers, I exclaimed. Went on and it was in meltdown. They'll be on sale again at 1pm today. I need a basic laptop, and wouldn't spending as little as that on one.
