Very early days, but the Albion in a great position to push for a massive away win, against a side out of form, in front of a relentlessly negative home crowd. A huge stroke of luck down the far end for Maty Ryan - delaying his clearance too long - charged down by Hojbjerg - the ball rebounding back over the tiny Aussie keeper and mercifully off the underside of bar. Boooo - ooooh - aaaah - arse. Booooo.

Just one genuine chance for the good guys to reinforce their lead, and push the Saints 'faithful' over the edge - clever turn in the box by Murray, to earn half a yard - but his low shot straight at McCarthy. Mr. Dean blew for half time - for once Mike, those boos are not for you, mate.
