I'd like to take this opportunity to say........

**** OFF Boro! We beat you out the cup, we've knocked your kids out of getting into the Premier League U23 top flight and we're all hoping Millwall smash you this weekend.

I believe it is scheduled to take place over the weekend of May 4th - 7th
Between the Man Utd game and the Sussex Senior Cup final ( the same day as the Man City game ) at the Amex.

Albion U-23s extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to 16 matches. Their record in that span (dating from January 19th):-

P:16 W:13 D:3 L:0 F: 49 A: 6 GD:43

They have kept 10 clean sheets in those 16 matches.

(Their record in the last four league/PO matches is 4 wins win an 18-2 combined goal record).

Viktor Gyokeres has scored in each of the last 8 matches (in all competitions) and now has 11 since making his debut as a sub on January 8..

An entertaining game with a much deserved Albion win. Great to see that we have some very good youngsters that will come through to the first team.

a galaxy far far away
Observations.

Best ref I've seen at the Amex (amax?) this season
Bjordal not far off now
Gykores wasn't that involved .... but scored 2.
Uwe needs a move. Love the bloke, he should be playing 1st team football somewhere
Sanchez in goal has very good distribution
If our crossing was better, we'd have scored quite a few more
Their keeper was good
Out of all our young player tonight, my guess is Dallison will play at the highest level
We were well drilled, credit to Rusk

Strange, I heard, from a Spurs fan, all our youngsters weren't good enough.

Silly old bat
I enjoyed that game. We were very patient passing it around in the first half, but once we started controlling the midfield, Boro were undone.
Standout players for me were Cox, Bjordal, and Gykores.
