No. I,m afraid that window of opportunity has been slammed shut in our face by the appointment of Alex Neil at Norwich. He has made no secret of the fact that he wants EB to be a regular part of his matchday squad.

Bad signing in the first place. He may have got away with the loan striker role in Spain but not hear in the Championship. He would have needed a strike partner to play his preferred role but we were never going to play two up front.

Agree. I think his track record was excellent considering being ill-equiped and ill-prepared to deal with such a physical league.

I think 10 years ago a fully fit Vicente would have pissed himself laughing if Brighton or any side outside the top 5 in the Premiership would have come in for him.

He was alright and getting better.

Probably didn't settle.
