Well it went the full 7 games and down to the wire in OT with another single goal winner.

Both teams gave 110%. It’s been a great series and Rangers finally won and go on to play Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Conference Final. Would love to have been at MSG for the celebrations.

Bit of a setback as Rangers suffer their worst defeat in the Cup so far at MSG with a 6-2 loss against TB Lightning taking the series to 1-1

Well Lyndhurst must have been concerned when on a 5 on 3 PowerPlay Rangers conceded the opening goal shorthanded. New York did equalise on their next PowerPlay but conceded again shortly after. An even second period kept Rangers in with a chance but they were blown away with three unanswered goals in the last. Next game Wednesday in Tampa.

The Hawks scored two PowerPlays in the first six minutes and the Ducks got a goal back before the tenth. They then equalized near the end of the second and that was that for lighting the lamp until 16 minutes into the third overtime period when Chicago grabbed the win.

Well what a rollercoaster that was, the Rangers take a 2 goal lead, then are down 2-4, make it 4-4 at the start of third, go a goal down but equalize with just under two minutes to play and then lose 3 minutes into overtime!

Another amazing game, don’t you just love Play Off hockey. The Hawks take the lead at the end of the first period, the Ducks equalize at the end of the second. Then the Hawks take an early two goal lead in the third. The Ducks fight back with three goals in 37 seconds!!! Chicago take it to overtime and the first OT is scoreless but they score 5 minutes into the second OT to tie the series, 2-2 same as Rangers v Lightning.
