I was away at university, studying in Hull. This was my first season without a season ticket since I was 6 . However I did get to two away games that year : the first was the 5-2 defeat away to Hull of course. This was at Boothferry Park, and an old, open concrete terrace.. I cant remember how the scoring went, but I was convinced that we would come back despite being 3 or 4 down at one point - the closest "thrashing" I have been at.. The other away game as a result of being based Up Norf was Bradford City away.. housed again in a terrace behind the goal but this time with a low roof. The match ball got booted into the stand and I retrieved it from the back, having to throw it low and hard, but blind.. cue a loud cheer as apparently I hit a policeman who used to patrol the pitch side back then.. we won that day 1-0!!

Would have been the older brother and Noel(Paul I think) as they were big city fans. Don't think Liam was that bothered.

Liam is still a massive City fan, so could've been him.
