Every active rumour now torpedoed by Naylor.

Probably because there is nothing going on. Which is a good position to be in.

My guess is now :

OUT : Schelotto
IN : U23 player ( fullback ? )

Zero chance of singing today.

totally forgot it was the transfer window to be honest.

Quite refreshing not to be checking news outlets hourly for rumours.

Be interesting who we will go after in the summer .

We'll need to replace Murray next season... would be great to get someone in now and get them up to speed. The Solanke rumour would lead us to think this may happen.

The right sort of player, at the right sort of price, just isn't available in this window. There will be far more choice at much better prices during the summer.

Of course not, but it shows that a new striker to replace Glenn is something the club is conscious about

So at least we know what type of striker we'll be looking to buy in the summer! So all of you FIFA players, have a look to see where there is a carbon copy of Murray but younger and quicker!

So if Alan Nixon says that, we take it as definately true do we? :nono:
He was the one who first mentioned Button signing for us - before it was rumoured elsewhere - but obviously he is only as good as his contacts.

Incidently, he reckons we are one of a number of clubs after Maupay from Brentford.

six feet beneath the moon...
Must be true then.

Most probably. Obviously the club would never have paid the price that Solanke went for in the end, but it doesn't take a huge stretch of the imagination to think that he's the kind of of player we would be interested in, or that we're looking for a replacement to Murray.
