I'm the one on the roof with the old fella in hand being chased by police.

Man they must have been shithouse back then.

I can't believe I used to do that journey. The midweek games were the most depressing getting dropped off at the bottom of Withdean Park around 1.30am.

Did you walk the 70 odd miles???? Used to be back in brighton before 11.
Culverhouse was one of the better ones

I must of been one of the few who actually benefited from playing at Gillingham as I lived just over the river in Essex then. Home in 45 mins. Much prefer living in Sussex and close to the Amex now though

On at least one occasion the double decker bus broke down on the M25 on the way back. We had to wait for
a replacement to come from Brighton. Should have been home at 6.30 - arrived at 9.00.

Dark. dark, days.

I hope that was after an afternoon game, so 9.00pm, and not after an evening k.o so 9.00AM!

Saturday afternoon - yep.

I remember we saw the replacement bus go past on the other side of the
motorway and it took a blo*dy age to pull up on our side. The driver
must have either missed us or at least the first junction turnoff or something.

As soon as I got home I bowled into the Co-op for beer.
