Morphed into Bad Company. Paul Kossoff, guitarist, died of drug related causes. His dad was David Kossoff and if you remember him you are definitely showing your age!

Remember him fondly as a player but other than knowing he's on the medical team haven't seen or heard much since. Hopefully it's for the right reasons. Sad timing perhaps for him.
I have some distant memory of someone from the Kossoff family coming to my school to tell us about the evils of drugs.

Technically speaking you are correct in that they did only have one hit single so could be classified under the umbrella term "one hit wonders" although that would not reflect a true representation of their achievements. Not having a hit single doesn't preclude you from being a very successful recording artist. Led Zeppelin have never had what could be classified as a hit single but are one of the most successful recording artists of all time. Even respected singer songwriters like Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen have never had hit singles in their own right.

I would argue that Big Yellow Taxi was a hit single for Joni Mitchell, if you classify the top twenty as hits.
My mistake. So i guess that makes her a one hit wonder. Unless she made other records that I am unaware of.

Wishing Well made number 7 in 1973 - not sure about My Brother Jake but I would guess top 20 ?
