Fascinating documentary on tv last night. A must watch for photographers. We don't appreciate how easy it is now a days to take photos.

That's a cracker. It looks like you might need to clean your sensor?

That's a brilliant picture.....
jack have you had success at cleaning a sensor , i have had similar issues and really have not been able to clean it well.

Cleaning your sensor is a piece of pee. If I can do, anyone can. Lots of You Tube tutorials. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5N9Fvep3lM
I bought a kit which included a dust puffer, swabs and cleaning liquid. Quite cheap on-line.
You might not notice the dust with most photography, but maybe you were using a tiny aperture? Great pic, BTW.

I expect it will be too heavy and expensive for me? Got to be better bet than my D200 (which I no longer use cause the results are a bit crappy).

Has it got Commander and an inbuilt focusing motor?
No mention of what switches/buttons/dials? (instead of the menu system wit the Nikon D3xxx D5xxx series)

I don't think I've contributed on here before, but last November I went on a workshop in Scotland with Colin Prior, the great landscape photographer.
The workshop was followed by a film crew and the resulting programme is being shown on Monday at 8pm on BBC2 Scotland (channel 970 on Sky and FreeSat. It will also be on iPlayer in HD after broadcast. I've seen the programme on a preview channel and it's brilliant (despite me featuring in it!).
Hopefully, this link will take you to the preview on Facebook.
